This is a GREAT article. Thank goodness for the Internet. Stay away from anything like this chemical concoction!!! This makes me sick just reading the ingredients! You might as well drink used motor oil. Eewhhhh! Shame on Baskin Robbins!

Hey David and Matt- Did you ever think about the fact that it's a nice idea that you went through all the trouble to do this research, but folks are still going to indulge because of the simple fact that it satisfies their palate! All the surveys in the world aren't going to change peoples minds! Have yuou guys actually tasted the low-fat stuff that is being put out there? It tastes NASTY! I won't eat that stuff! And I know many others who won't eat it either!! There are numerous chemicals on everyday fruits and vegetables that are just as deadly to us the consumers! Why don't you print that kind of stuff?

N.B. The food industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the AMA colloborate with each other to make human beings as sick as possible for profit---money. They could care less about our health. By making you sick and keeping you sick they stay in business and make huge profits from our illness.

I found out about this monstrocity last weekend when my 12 year old foundd coupons for buy 1 get 1 free sundaes or shakes at Baskin Robbins. I've been on Weight Watchers for awhile now & wanted to see what I might be able to eat if she got one of these... when I saw the 2000 calorie shake.. and the 1650 Calorie Peppermint Pattie Brownie Sundae loaded with 80 grams of fat link: http://www.baskinrobbins.com/Nutrition/product.aspx?Category=Sundaes&id=SN063, I almost fainted. I told her there was no way I was going to buy these and showed her the facts. She said it was disgusting and we opted instead for a container of Friendly's Black Raspberry No Sugar Added ice cream from the store.. it only has 90 calories per serving, 3g of fat and contains 3g of fiber. What an improvement! You wont be seeing us at Baskin Robbins any more.

“Instead of giving Socrates hemlock, they should have just forced him to drink one of these,” he said. “Could this 2,300-calorie liquid monstrosity be the worst drink on the planet?” Your 'buddy' Matt actually said that? So you two like to play 'Batman and Robin' I take it. No one talks like that.

OMG!! Does someone want to split this with me?! Only kidding this is sweet poison and as we all know. Poison is not good for the body no matter how good it tastes. I will think thrice (3 times) before I put any concoction like that in my mouth.

What's the matter with us??? ALL of us--the consumers as well as the people who make this stuff??? The more information available to us, the worse decisions we seem to make!

there's a lot wrong with Ethical4all's comment, but the bit that takes the cake (so to speak) is: "Let's give them hamburgers and meatloaf and mac-n-cheese! They like those things and they are good for them!" If this is what the average person thinks is "good for them" than that really explains everything about why americans are fat.

Uh, it's Baskin-Robbins. Why would anyone think that they could find anything with any nutritional value at an ice cream shop? I think the food police are taking this a little too far... or, you guys are just getting a lttle lazy in your pursuit of guilty foods. Nice detective work! The government should put you guys in charge of finding Osama bin Laden...

Does that list say over 100 grams of FAT??? Holy God...and I'm a sucker for BR's Peanut Butter -n- Chocolate ice cream (it's a RARE treat, I have to drive half an hour to get it, and with gas so high...well, it's keeping my waist slim, ha!)...Oh, Baskin Robbins...you disappoint me so...
