Dave when are you going to start including all the nutrients. Not just calories and sodium. I find your guidelines incomplete. I work out so I want to know the protein content.

Of corse, David, being the brainless idiot that you are, yo are yet again listing all calories as "unhealthy". When will it end? Its too bad only thin people such as yourself are "healthy". MY what a perfect world it will be when we can all be like you!!

Okay, all of these items are unhealthy!! And, the only people I have ever seen eat a lunchable are kids who are unlikely to go for your alternative. I don't know why I continue to read these things, they always annoy me!

How can Toll House CHoc Chip be good for anyone ? out of 130 calories ( what is the serving size ? ) 54 come from fat, or 41 % fat !! What about sodium, cholesterol and carbs ? You are promoting yourself as an expert ? What a dangerous and fraudulent article.

I know how to eat right; I just don't do it. I forget that trans fats are still out there, and I am occasionally hypnotized by a really good granola, forgetting about the sugar, although some granolas are much better than others. The Kashi brand is tasty, both the cereals and granolas, and good quality. We need to stay away from convenience and packaged foods, however. they just contain too much crap.

Whereas most of the content of this article is helpful an will be a decent guideline for many folks just scratching the surface concerning the nutritionally deficient processed food offerings the American consumer is bombarded with, it is of importance to note saturated fat is not the villian the public has been led to believe. In the studies conduced in the 1980's on fat in the U.S. diet, trans fats and saturated fats were irresponsibly lumped together and subseqently the determination was made that both were damaging to overall health, when in fact, only the trans fats are.
