The author talks about how "carbo" loading spikes energy and causes drowsiness in the afternoon (which is definitely true).... but then they don't even bother to list how many carbs are in the various lunches they list. TYPICAL STUPID YAHOO ARTICLE.

Well, this person really does believe what he writes: that the fatter you get, the dumber you become, according to "research" (what research, by whom, when, etc.). It is obvious from the way he addresses people. The whole tone of this article is one big insult. Maybe people who decided to buy the book after seeing the cover like that sort of so-called humour, but at least they could see a mile away what they were in for. Copycats allways stink.

Better than what has been offered in this article - PREPARE YOUR OWN HOMECOOKED LUNCHES AND DINNERS! I enjoy the preparation of my own meals. It takes me back to the time when the women in my family stormed the kitchen in their Sunday best clothes covered in homemade aprons, with stockings and houseshoes. It reminds me of the chatter they carried on about the church service, who out-shouted whom, who outsang whom, how long the preacher talked, and how many kids would get whippings after because they talked during service. While my sister and I set the dinner table, the warm kitchen and wonderful smells would bring the rest of the family to the table. Good food is prepared from scratch and carefully molded and seasoned in love. Not paid at a drive through window.

Burger joints and pizza parlors get a bad rap, but you can find healthy options anywhere - if you just know how to navigate the menu. Don't derail your healthy diet, plan ahead. Imagine if you could make good food choices before you even arrived at a restaurant? http://www.bodybyjake.com/ce-r-blog.aspx

The author, when on the Oprah Show, told us that turkey bacon as opposed to bacon was lower in fat and calories. I checked all the brands I could find on the shelf and found that to be false. Hmm. I believe I would rather check the nutritional information for myself and spend the money I save from not buying his book and buy what I know is most healthly for me.

I think they put things like the triple Whopper with cheese on the list just to shock people into realizing just how many calories there are. I don't think anyone actually ordering one of those is concerned with how many fat grams it has. They probably order a large fry too, along with a Super sized Diet Coke (to save calories).
