I couldn't agree more. This is pretty much what I did. I lost 30 pounds a year and a half ago, and I have since kept off the weight. I realized that the extra weight I was carrying around was largely due to 10 years of heavy drinking of coffee with the fancy flavored creamers. I made the switch to black coffee. I then stopped drinking juices and soda. I began losing about a pound every week and a half. I love to ride my bike, and instead of paying 2 thousand dollars to buy a bike that's 2 pounds lighter than my bike, I spent less money on beverage products and dropped 30 pounds off my body. I can tell you that it makes a big difference when riding up hills.

Okay, now what about Diet Soda's? Should you or shouldn't you drink them? Today, we hear yes and no about Diet Soda's. I love my Diet Pepsi but should I give it up all together?
