I wouldn't take a copy of "Eat this, not that" if it was given to me. Life is hard enough without someone telling me that I cannot indulge in something yummy once in a while. Moderation is the key to staying fit and healthy. Period. My Vitamin water is listed as the #1 least healthy, healthy drink. That's peculiar considering I lost 60lbs by cutting down on high fat foods and drinking nothing but regular water AND my Vitamin water. Like I said, moderation.

Look, you either focus on food 24 hours a day, or you think about it for 15-20 minutes, and instead--concentrate on physical activity every day. If you eat fatty foods, your body will process it efficiently--if you get enough exercise.

The old saying is still true. If it tastes good it's bad for you.

Oh, a repeat of an article, slow news day I suppose. Some of the restaruants are not even in my area, so I can't say that I am getting that much trans fat. It could be informative if every restaruant was represented, but that would be way to long to read.

This continuing diatribe against fatty foods and obesity isn't "public service". It's setting up a rationale for the Obama Politburo to nationalize the food industry. See also SUV

Do the alternative foods you mentioned taste as good? Yes we can cut down on calories because the alternates don't taste as good.

We can indulge our selves every now and then; however I tried eating great during the week and indulging myself only on the weekend only with what I like and it works out great.. During the week for breakfast ill have plain cream of wheat or oatmeal with eggwhites and berries and it holds me perfect till lunch. During lunch and night you just have to limit the fat, bread, and sugar in order to intake fewer calories and feel better.. It also gives me energy to workout. Just dont eat fast food like french fries and whoppers or jumbo jacks! They give you no energy.. And dont feel ashamed to order a burrito with no tortilla and just lettuce or sammies at quiznos... You will have enough nutruients and also it will fill you up
