    What about the menu at Bennigin's? They deep fry some of thier SANDWICHES for goodness sake!

    There are too many manuals telling you what is or is not good for you These little list are easy to remember then all the books in the library

    If you eat these foods everyday then of course you'll gain a lot of weight, but once in while it's perfectly fine. And also, they taste DELICIOUS!

    This is so helpful. i have very high cholestrol so i always check the ingredients on whatever i buy. Now I am finding out it does not give you the truth. Thank you so much for this product. I also check the tv dinners that are suppose to be low in everything and they probably are not. I now try to eat vegs and fruit and hope they are ok. i use no salt and really check the cholestrol. Please excuse the typing i have painful ra arthritis and parkinson. i loved your article. thankk you roe

    Very informative - especially about foods that are supposed to be healthy, but are not. However, the article would have been better if it had mentioned what brand of bran muffin (or recipe) they used. It is hard to the find low-fat muffins, but a local bakery has some.

    I am surprised that you don't include soy and soy products in your list. Soy isoflavones affect thyroid function, inhibit iron uptake, and can trigger autoimmune diseases. Also they behave as an exogenous (from outside the body) estrogen - and there is little reason to introduce estrogens (female hormones) in the general diet. Some countries (Israel most notably) have banned soy based infant formula for these reasons.

    I find in some restrurants you need to pay extra to sub green vegie for french fries and breakfast comes with pancakes even if you don't want them.
