Thanks for great tips! My grandkids made their own concoction with lime juice (squeezing the juice is fun), cranberry juice, and ice cream (the big attraction). They may have invented the next great summer frostie!!

Any article that shows food choices and their respective calories and fat is a good article. Americans need education about the foods they eat. The more they know about what they're eating, the easier it will be to make good food choices. Keep articles like this coming!

Interesting article... However, watch out for which hot dogs you buy. Some may find that their favorites have more fat than 12 grams. I have noticed in the past that some are as high as 18 grams per hot dog.. but hey.. it's the summer... Happy Grilling!!!

At least we can still eat old time favorites(hot dog and ice cream sandwich) in my family, and not worry too much of the calories.

I went on the Paul McCenna Life style plan-its a diet but-really a life change. I lost thirty pounds, the wife forty (she's lost too much). All by his five (or so) rules; Eat what you want, eat until you are full, eat when your hungry, the key is eating very slowly, and undistracted. Withen a week I was eating a third (if that) of what I was, and I'm allways satified (forgot another key-if your not happy no diet will work). See his book on it. DALE...All other "diets" just exacerbate the problem! I found this out after I got on Paul's diet.
