    The part about the dairy leaves me confused as I have been hearing that 3 servings of yogurt and/or milk helps you lose weight

    Dr. Mao: Thank you for this. I have been drinking water but not enough. I like the soup idea, very practical as well. And I have been walking already. I hope to put your suggestions into action in 2008, as part of my New Years resolution to a healthier me.

    A great reminder I think we all need to keep in mind. When I put on the pounds it's usually because I don't follow these basic rules. #4 is my problem. Eating large meals instead of smaller ones.

    6. Walk off the weight. 4. Eat smaller meals, more frequently. 1. Lose weight with water. Agree with all the above.

    I am feeling motivated! I know all this is true and will work. My biggest problem is doing it!! It is a New Year and I am working on this new me so I am going for it! Hello water and the bathroom all day!! HAHA!

    Actually, no studies have shown that the time of day you eat makes any difference in weight loss.

    thanks for the advises. they really help. what is difficult for me it´s to stop eating snacks instead of fruits... everytime i´m hungry what I look first will be a snack...

    Common sense, great recommendatiohs. Sugars and soda are poison to your body anyway (hence all the obesity).
