How about......pray for patience and have faith that by being faith driven God will take on all your burdens......because that's what he wants.

I need all of those and more. These are crazy times requiring Gratitude, Acceptance and Tolerance. I like being the kind of person that let's people in on the highway, honestly asks clerks "how they are doing" and that sort of thing. I find it helps with my own serenity.

I was a little concerned when I read the name of the doctor. Dr. Mao!! Just brought back memories of the so-caled "cold war". His article is great. He uses a lot of common sense ideas coupled with ancient arts such as meditation, etc. East meets west kind of thing I suppose! His idea of breathing techniques at the end of the article reminds me of the "Lazarus tapes" I listened too when I was in nursing school. Pretty much same thing about breathing slowly and releasing the tension through the body except the Lazarus tapes had you start at the feet and work upwards. Regardless of where you start, they do work! At least it works for me and that's all I can speak to.

Just tell family and friends you cannot afford to buy them gifts (except for your own children & spouse that is). Tell them that is also not what Christmas is about anyway. Tell them let's make a deal no gift exchanging. Then you just buy gifts for your own kids and spouse only. Shop in October and get in done before Thanksgiving. There you go I solved everyone's holiday stress!!!
