Now I know why my old (but trustworthy) body loves orange juice. It has puzzled me why I crave orange juice late in life since I never drank it when I was young. Thanks for solving this mystery. Balance is generally neglected in traditional exercise. Not so in yoga. Here there are specific exercises that help you develop balance. After years of practice balance poses are still not my strong suit, but the improvement over the years is not shabby either. Patience and persistence paves the way.

I don't drink orange juice but I eat plenty of dark leafy greens, beans, and legumes. I guess I've got that going for me along with the exercise. I still like alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and salt in moderation. I know I can't avoid those. I'll just have to take my chances... increase my vitamins, my exercise, and get more sun.

Great article! Extra calcium supplementation can conflict with some drugs that people take and shouldn't be taken at the same time or within 4 hours of taking it. You shouldn't avoid taking a mineral that your body needs, however, especially one that helps your bones. Just space it out further from when you take the prescription especially if that drug is known to deplete calcium from your body. Your begging for injuries later if you take no action now to prevent them.

Desire, Vitamine K is another vitamine that is helpful for bones and it is in all green vegetables. but in heart meds it is restricted. It shouldn't be Like the others. And for your post. many patients are on6 medications and alot can interfere wit hthe vitamines or interfere with the medications. so you got to choose . whether you want to live a close to a normal life &Just becareful or be with symptoms that are debilitating. What is worse is thatdoctors don't say anything about certain medicines affects on bones til it's too late. trust me I had experience. Nothing was done about my bones til after my major break

I have never read anything by Dr. Mao, yet I feel that I have been using most of the suggestions in this article. On March 1, 2007 I made up my mind that I had to lose weight. My first step was getting in the right mindset by choosing to exercise and eat the foods I wanted to eat. I did not restrict anything in my diet if I wanted to eat it I ate itm just a lot less of it. Eventually my choices became healthier and healthier. I drink plenty of water and I have lost 50lbs I feel better than I have in many years. I no longer eat to stop the uncomfortable feeling of stress. While I still feel stress (and it is not a good feeling) instead of eating to make the feeling go away, now I get on the eliptical for 30 minutes and I feel much, much better. Soup is my usual choice of foods and I try to eat it at least once a day. I do not eat after 6pm and I no longer eat candy or sugar.

Just discovered your website and love it! Have you ever heard of strontium being used for osteoporosis? I have read that it should be taken alone on an empty stomach at bedtime but now I've seen some tablets that include Vitamin D, K, silicon, copper and a couple of other minerals. It doesn't contain calcium and it shouldn't be taken at the same time as calcium. Your comments?

Our ten year old daughter broke her foot last week, she is in a boot nearly 24 hours a day for the next month. Should I be increasing her Calcium intake to promote healing? She already takes a chewable vitamin daily.

Rachelle-Shelly Mucha smucha@netnitco.net 219-789-4150 Skpe # Shelly698 Have a Great Day! I prayed this would work . I figured I would give it a try since I tried 100's other products trying to stop or help my pain.and help with my daily movement, and also help with my Soliosis, by the time I was 50 I could bearly move, and get around from my illness. I was also told I had Osteoporosis, and my every day movment was becoming more diffacuit. By using this product In just 2 weeks of taking this product, I rised up out of bed, and noties some thing was different ! I had Energy I never had before, and I was able to sleep the whole night without getting up with my pain. What was so great about this product was it did not change the taste of the water I was drinking, or any thing else I was drinking. I started using it in everything I was drinking, and some how my water was "wetter", it was proving the proper ph balance I needed all these years! Diseaes or sickness can not survive in a well ph balanced body.. I like most people that are up in age had the "Fungus toe nail.. but with the right ph balance in my body! I no long have the Fungus toe nail! and feel GREAT! I can do things I never thought I would ever do again! I can not drink O.J. or milk products, and I Exercises every day now! What is this product ? It is X2o from Xooma World Wide. I will never be with out it! Rachelle (Shelly) Transform Your Water! Make X20 your daily source for hydration and refreshment! Xooma X20 actually makes water "wetter" by lowering the surface tension of water molecules. This dramatically increases your water's ability to hydrate your body at the cellular level. It's as easy as 1-2-3! Step 1: Drop an X2O sachet ("teabag") in 18-24 ounces of purified or bottled water. Step 2: Shake for 10-15 seconds Step 3: Allow 5 minutes for X2O to transform your water before drinking What is Xooma X2O? Each sachet of X2O contains calcium, magnesium, and over 70 essential minerals that become ionic in water, allowing them to be easily absorbed by the body. Most Americans are mineral deficient in their diets. http://SHELLYSMIRACLES.COM http://www.xoomaworldwide.com/rmucha
