PERFECT timing when I saw your article! I WAS in a rotten mood, totally was, because my boyfriend just chose 4-wheeling with his buddies instead of hanging with me....but I'm heading back out and going to buy myself some flowers and watch a funny movie instead of sulking. I agree, laughter really helps but it's not always easy to just put down the bad mood and get giggling. And I knew certain smells uplift the mood but didn't know which ones, so now I know ;^D Again, perfect timing and thanks!

The skin is the largest organ of the body. Treat your skin very well and you can lift your mood. Try a good exfoliating soap on your arms and legs in a warm bath and follow that up with a soothing lotion - like cedar. Go for a massage, a pedicure or have a friend lightly scratch your back. Put rose petals in your bath. Put ice cubes on your scalp after a warm shampoo and rinse. Put small, rounded pebbles in an old soft sock - tie it closed and rub your feet across it for a foot massage. Put a little dried rosemary inside and have aroma therapy while you're at it! Just think of all of the ways you can treat yourself - your skin - without spending a lot of money and really improving your outlook on life.
