    Great article. Staying away from annoying people also helps immensely when you have that option. Spending some time in prayer each day can also help improve your gloomy mood, spirit, and health. Simply listening to music helps lift the spirit too.

    Good post. I'd add: 1- Exercise on a daily basis is a free mental and physical booster. 2- Pets can provide much contentment, encourage regular walks and can lavish the world's most unconditional love on anyone who will open themselves up to such love. Rainbow

    Great advice! I also suggest to take the time to do something you haven't done for a while like getting together with old friends or take a drive to your favorite weekend destination. Get off your comfort level. You can try making it a point to do something different once a month - a new restaurant, play, etc.
