I agree with these methods for use inthe 1970's, but today I like some others. 1) Turn off your cell phone from midnight to 7 am (unless you work then) 2) Enjoy your routine, have something specific you do every day that makes you feel good. (even a simple one, like a funny tear off calendar) 3) Use toilet time to read educational or thought provoking stuff (some of my best thinking has occured here.) 4) Put more into Karma (I cant prove anything here but it makes me feel better and that the point) 5) Be charitable, its the little things that count like holding a door. (I beleive in the teach fishing instead of giving fish methodology so I also volunteer my time at habitat for humanity, it is very stress releiving to use a hammer for anything) 6) Take a good look at what your stress source is and work toward decreasing it. (I don't mean quit your job because its too stressful, but look at what others do around you in similar positions to lessen their stress)

Stress gives rise to frustrations and thus causes loss of happiness. We find difficult to cope with daily frustrations. The only way to control your stress is to accept what can not be changed. Meditation, spending time with your loved ones, being kind with someone may help to alleviate the feelings of frustration.
