i think i'll try that recipe with oranges instead of grapefruit (can't have grapefruit). maybe i'll zest some of the orange into it. it does sound like a delicious recipe, Dr. Mao. i eat tangerine or orange salads quite frequently over a bed of lettuce. put different toppings over it (seeds, nuts, coconut) for variety. sometimes with lowfat vanilla yogurt and sometimes with a homemade dressing. both ways taste pretty good.

I love squeezing citrus into a pitcher of water. MMMMMM! That's very good! I don't care if it's a lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit. IT IS SO GOOD! Especially, if you don't like the taste of plain water, a splash of citrus will pick it up instantly. I like your ideas too ricecakecoaster. I'll try that too with the salads. Never thought about tangerines. I should try that in my water sometime.

tried out the recipe Dr. Mao. modified it a little since I used oranges in place of grapefruit. cut back on the honey and zested some orange peel into it. used preserves since I didn't have marmalade. followed everything else you said. then topped it with toasted coconut over the banana. don't know if it's as good as your original recipe, but that variation on it was pretty darn good.

Lemonade heated up on a cold day tastes really good too.

#5 - I love hot lemonade especially freshly made. It is one of my childhood comfort foods and a must when I have a sore throat.
