This is by far one of the most ridiculous thoughts I've ever heard. Wood and metal are NOT forms of energy. Energy can neither be created or destroyed, it's a law of physical science. Keep it simple and focus on the truths. Our bodies were created to function at a kneen state of being with certain natural "food" in-takes. However, that said things are not today what they were some two thousand years ago. Today most foods we eat, the air we brethe, and the waters we drink contain chemicals, and many other foreign elements that our bodies were never created to ingest. This is why we have the cancer rate we have today. Our bodies are way to busy fighting off other intruders to focus fighting off cancer cells, which by the way have always been there, by in the days gone by, our bodies had the given ability to fight them off, and win. Which is why today we need more so than ever to supplement our diets with 100% all natural organic supplements(vitamins). I cannot over stress that they need to be pure food supplements which contain no additives, extracts, or other by-products. Warning to those who do buy and take regular vitamins; make absoulutely sure what you're buying works, or at least has the ability to produce desired results. The vitamin industry is huge and there are many out there who market products that have little to no effect. Shaklee is by far the best on the market (of course this is my opinion), which has changed my life in ways I did not think possible.

Excellent article. My only suggestion is to store any mix containing nuts/seeds in a glass container. Any oil rich food combines with plastic to form plasticides, which are toxic. Good eating!

I have high insulin levels and control it mostly with diet and exercise. My question is should I avoid dried fruits because of the sugar levels, or is it the same as eating fresh fruits?

I am a agronomist and studied cancer for 30 years. I have a theory based on Ph and health. Soils vary throughout the world but eventually end up in the oceans. This variation in soil causes health deficiencys. The earth is made of rock, ( 98minerals) which are electrical, thus causing lightning along with hot and cold temperatures. We ingest plants (phytonutrients) that become electrical from the minerals. Livestock and humans become electrical (ex. EKG). When the soils meet the ocean there is a phenominon. All 98 minerals attract to each other electicly and create the perfect fuel for plants to produce bio chemical compounds essential for optimum health (proteins, carbs, enzymes, hormones etc). Dr Maynard Murry proved this in the 1930's by fertilizing plants with seawater which produces extreme yeilds and health. The rusults were a cure for cancer. Cancer is simply a lack of Oxygen to cells caused by low alkilinity. SEA MINERALS OR EVEN SEA SALT CAN CURE CANCER AND MOST DISEASES. Seasalt acually lowers blood presure, man made salt is poisoness. But, its the bio chemical compounds produced by plants that is key to perfect health and longivity. We are built to live well over 100 years of age. The ocean is Gods gift to our health and we are blind to this fact. Douglas Crabtree

Excellent article! I do get lazy and tend to eat the same things every day, so I am going to make a list of the different colored foods next time I shop and mix it up! #3 I'm with you on the red wine! Isn't it one of the red food groups? ;-) #14 The Asian diet uses meat and fish more as a condiment than a staple, which is a very good habit that I have gotten into lately. I will make a whole casserole or stir fry with one piece of chicken or fish, and a tuna salad with one part tuna and 3 parts veggies. It stretches the food budget and helps me consume more veggies. I think we do need some animal protein on our diet, but we Americans go way overboard in out consumption of it. Eating less meat is good for us and more sustainable for the environment.

Recommend reading posting #74 by Hortman. Cancer and most diseases are anaerobic, as he reflects. But, our medical industry does not buy this, because prevention of disease throught an alkaline diet (oxygen to the cells) has little profit. Big Pharma forever, I'm afraid.
