I drink bottled spring water from the high mountains in my area. I also treat this water by showing the water words according to the findings and teachings of Dr. Masaru Emoto. This improves the water even more. We are over 70% water and so is this Earth. The water in our bodies is like a tape recorder. If we pollute it we feel sick and have lots of health problems. Our water is very sensitive to both the internal and external inviornment.

I have tried fresh mint leaves in my water. That is very refreshing. I also have tried it with fresh sprigs of thyme or rosemary when I couldn't find any mint. That is good too.

If you add honey make sure no little ones can get to it. I have read that children under 1-year cannot digest honey but I know they would not hesitate to drink something so yummy. I like lemongrass in water and fresh mint in ice tea. They both grow well inside or out. In fact mint is a great climber and blends well with climbing roses to fill in gaps. The smell of them together is intoxicating.

ricecakecoaster - a tiny .99 cent single pot of mint from Lowes or any garden store planted outside will be a massive bush in one season and comes right back the next spring. You can pluck plenty to dry for the winter and never run short.

I grow the mint at my house. Didn't know you could buy it at Lowes. It is called Yerba Buena (good weed) out here or spearmint. It does grow wild and will take over an area. It is great for an upset stomach when made as a tea. I like to eat a leaf or two right off the stem. They taste great!!!

#5 - If the Lowes, HQ, or Home Depot has a garden center they should have it in a small plastic pot. That one tiny sprig will take off just like the wild kind. If you have the wild kind near you it is very hardy. You could probably just pour some water to loosen the soil and pull the root right out and replant it where you want it. I do not even mind if mine spreads like a weed because it smells so good when the weed eater hits it.

I just read over the authors comments again about storing water in plastic bottles. How ironic that most of the purist bottled water we can purchase is sold in plastic for safety and to make it more light weight to carry. Even water delivered for filtrated cooling tanks is in plastic. I know I enjoy the flavor of any drink more if it is in glass but I rarely have that luxury except in my own home.

I enjoy drinking water but has never tried it with the mint or thym. Water is very good therapy for everything.Its helping me with my skin too.

I drank about 1 Liter of water every morning after waking up from bed. It helps in refreshing your body and excreting out the toxin the body accumulates overnight.

Water can also make a great reward for work outs. I allow my wife up to 1.5qts a day if she works out for a minium of 2 hours. Be carefull though water weight can add unsightly curves to a womens body. Besides mint leaves and basil i will aloow my wife to add lemon wedges to her water in subistuion to a meal. Fresh lemons are the best so look for ones with no soft spots!!!

I just have one comment. Who does #12 think he is "allowing his wife" to have water. WTF!?!? Has the world gone mad to worry about water weight causing unsightly curves?!?!? This guy needs a slap in the face and a good ol fashioned water torture.. Geesh! Let him substitute all of his meals with a lousy glass of water & lemon wedge and see how long he can manage. UGH! But for the tips, interested in the mint plants! Never tried that in water, sounds good!

Recommending that you not store water in plastic seems crazy. Glass doesn't give like plastic does should the temperature change significantly and what are the other options?

The "best" water is Penta Water. Check out their website. Buy a bottle at Whole Foods. Your stomach will thank you. It is smooth, soft and has no after-taste.
