Most of this article is a load of bull. For safest results, use micowave on low in glassware, Corningware, ceramic or lead-free terra cotta bowls? Do u know how long that'll take? I don't have 10 minutes to cook a bowl of ramen noodles. and NEWSFLASH not everyone has the time to fight w/ stove top cooking. "Avoid plastic and rubber utensils and opt instead for stainless steel or better yet, wooden spatula and spoons" Are u kidden me? I use silicone or plastic in our cooking pots. I will not use steel or wooden items. The horrible scraping sound that results is extremelly painful to my ears and runs EXTREMELLY painful chills down my spine. And use glass instead of plastic storage? NO! Glass is heavy and expensive compared to plastic counter parts(and I'm talking about GOOD glass compared to GOOD REUSABLE plastic) And sure natural cleaners are ok, but I'm not fond of homemade cleaners. I don't know why, but I hate the smell of vineger(but I oddly love apple cider vineger and sea salt and vineger pringles)

Before everyone throws out their wonderful hard anodized aluminum cookware you should look into Dr. Mao's claim. He should note that hard anodized aluminum is not linked to any of the things that regular aluminum cookware is. There are some great reasons to use hard anodized since it heats up well. He also leaves out stainless steel which is truly the best choice so long as it has a base of hard anodized aluminum or copper. Some of his info is ok but alot of this is as you may have guessed someone who is uninformed trying to speak to a topic which falls outside of his expertise.
