I was wondering if any ever used vinegar on sunburns. My mom told me about this and I actually used it and it worked for me. Turned my sunburn brown and took away the pain of the burn. I may still have peeled, but still did it's job.

My doctor told me to only use Aloe Vera 24-hours after a sun burn. If you put it on immediately after you get out of the sun, it actually keeps the burn in and doesn't let the heat escape your skin. It will make it worse.

I use lemon juice on my sunburns, it stings @ 1st but it's effective, my friend even said that after putting lemon juice on it, she started tanning a bit overnite.

Someone told me that placing wet black tea bags or a rag soaked in black tea or even soaking in a bath of black tea will sooth a sunburn. The key is not wiping the tea off, just let it dry on the skin.
