You missed Marijuana. It's an herb and not only does it help with sleeping, eating, nausea, cancer, depression, and hundreds of other illnesses//issues, but it makes you feel great too!! Add that to the fact that it's easier to grow naturally then ANY of these herbs listed, and it's basically the cure all herb. Oh, and since you seem to have a Chinese persuasion to this, I should also mention the Chinese were the first people to cultivate marijuana and hemp, with the first medicinal use of marijuana being sometimes around 2727 B.C.

A caveat for nursing moms: sage, even in the small amounts used in everyday cooking, can reduce milk supply. What I was taught was that this milk reduction is related to one of sage's other medicinal uses, that of reducing perspiration. So if you perspire excessively and don't want to use aluminum-based antiperspirants, and of course if you are not pregnant or nursing, it would be worth looking into sage to help dry you out a bit. Do your homework, though, and be sure to get qualified advice!

I agree with several of my compatriots. Cannabis is probably the most useful herb, having shown promise fighting a range of ailments such as cancer, glaucoma, insomnia. It has also been shown that cannabinoids fight off bacterial infection. That's why its always good to have a vaporizer ready for when you are feeling down, or bored, or happy, or any other emotion.

Whatever you say homey, I mean I love herbs and love to cook with them and eat them as much as possible. But shoving a rosemary plant is not gonna cure all of your ills like some people would like to believe. Weed is good but smoking it is horrible for you, I'm also one of the few that gets a bad reaction from THC(nausea, stupor, headache) but I'm not gonna hate on it if it works then cool.
