is cilantro just as good as spinache? are blueberries and blackberries just as good as your billberry? seems as if the exercises for the eye, would add to the stress if over used all day. like, if you've been digging ditches all day, why would one go home to do sit-ups? one more, canned spinache is easier to put into a juicer [with the water somewhat squeezed out]. can that be used instead of the over-priced fresh for all the health bennifits i'm going after? thanks dr. mao

Please note that Mr. Mao is not a medical doctor, but instead holds a doctor of philosophy degree.

As an ophthalmologist I would LOVE to see your scientific evidence for how eye exercises can get rid of those "pesky" floaters

Charlatans like Mao should be prosecuted by the FDA. I have a PhD, like Mao apparently, but I never lead people to believe that I am a medical doctor.

I've been doing the eye exercises for years now and love the feeling as you work all seven of the intrinsic eye muscles. If you haven't tried the pencil thing give it a try. You can feel the muscles working, it's cool. Besides proper nutrition you need to exercise the muscles which always does not get mentioned when it comes to eye care.

I think most people would put sight right up there at the top of list for functions they would most like to preserve. Macular degeneration SOUNDS like the eye just getting weaker, you might need stronger glasses. NO! Although obviously attacking different folks to different degrees, a family member in the sixties (not 90's) quickly (in matter of months) went from a cabable, independent, working man to someone who lost about 85% of their vision. By that, I mean, even after surgical interventions, they had giant black areas in their field of vision. THEY COULD NOT SEE MOST OF WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING AT. And what is a huge contributor towards macular degeneration? SMOKING! So, keep your vision, stop smoking. Wish they'd put THAT on the sides of cig packs...that's a whole lot more concrete to a 16 yr old than..this may increase your chances to develip lung cancer in 40 years....

The 8 glasses of water thing has been pretty much debunked. Kind of discredits the rest of the article. Pity.
