One of my favorite brown bagged lunches is a lean roast beef and mustard on whole wheat bread with half of an apple and 3 slices of colby jack cheese. Occasionaly I will have some fruit snacks or a hershey kiss as a treat.

Wow, a nutrition article from Yahoo that isn't crap. That's amazing! I absolutely agree with the soup and the afternoon snack. I eat soup at least 3 times a week for lunch and it keeps me awake. Smaller calories at lunch, smaller calories at snack, and you are on your way!

It would seem to me that quality of life would totally suck eating most of the crap they recommend. These berries are quite expensive too. I find this article bogus and unrealistic. Do a bit more research and next time suggest some realistic alternatives and someone other than some hippie girl might want to eat.

The OTHER microwave comment, about destroying nutrients, is also false according to: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/17/health/17real.html Nuke away! (But don't overcook.)
