This advice makes me wish I didn't live in a cave. I live in a cave because I'm afraid of daylight. I'm afraid of daylight because daylight used to ridicule me in elementary school. Once in high school, I vandalized daylight's locker. No one ever knew it was me. The perfect crime.....heh heh heh.

Maybe I'm biased, but I believe the only way to improve and improve quickly is to push your body farther than you think it can go, only then will you see what you are capable of doing. Learned that one in the Marine Corps Infantry.

i'm glad those 9 years of school paid off with those tips. heres some better tips from someone who actually lost a ton of weight very quickly and now is a triathlete. 1. drink only quality water A LOT. no alcohol, caffeine, sugars, soda, JUST WATER. and Dasani and Aquafini dont constitute QUALITY water. they are rip offs. 2. eat 8 times a day. yes that is right.. 8 times a day. the catch is no more steaks and cheeseburgers for you. veggies, whole grains, veggies, and more veggies. french fries or salad dressing doused on a salad doesn't count as a veggie sorry. 3. walk, jog, run, swim.. DO SOMETHING... EVERYDAY. not 4 times a week like this bozo says, but EVERYDAY. you want to look good? you live an active lifestyle.. get rid of your tv if necessary!

Water activities are not helpful in fighting osteoporosis..weight-bearing activities are. Water activities are helpful with people with osteoarthritis.

I don't quite see the connection with these tips and warm weather. The product endorsements are also annoying.

I don't quite see the connection with these tips and warm weather. The product endorsements are also annoying. And I have also been told by my physician that swimming and other water activities are NOT helpful for building bones or preventing oeteoporosis!!

I don't like when doctors or nutritionist leave specific suggestions about what "nutrient supplements" to take. It makes me think they are getting some kind of kick back.

"The number one cause of weight gain is inactivity." Absolutely 100% absurd. The number one cause is overeating. Anyone can consume 1000 calories in 10 minutes but it takes 3-4 hours of exercise to burn that off.

I'm am a certified personal trainer. This Doc is out of touch with fitness. Medicine and fitness are not the same thing. The whole "target heart rate" thing has shown to be a joke and the idea of it came from an incomplete study back in the 1950's. You don't have to maintain a range. Actually, interval training, where your heart rate constantly changes from high to low, has shown to burn the most calories. And walking and aerobics are only considered weight-bearing in older aged populations. If you are getting fitness tips from here then you are obviously lost. Talk to a trainer in your area, but always check out someone's credentials and don't blindly believe what you are being fed by "experts".

I found this very helpful since I haven't had a regular exercise routine since summer '08. My husband came back from deployment, we went on vacation, and that was that. I've since put back on 12 pounds that I need to get off so I can fit into my cute clothes again. I've fallen into a rut. Help!

this man is not a medical doctor. he is not a physician. he has a PhD in chinese medicine. i would not follow anything he says without consulting your physician first, or in the case of exercise-related stuff, consulting a personal trainer.

his "product endorsements" are absurd.. those "B-Slim dietary supplements" he wants you to buy off his site are to be taken three times per day (2-3 capsules at a time)!! that is crazy.. 6-9 capsules a day.. thats 180-270 a month. it doesnt say how many are in a bottle, assume 100-180.. but thats also $30 a bottle.. insane!
