Dr.Mao, thank you for your article. In fact, my skin is not good. So sad, huh? By the way, bennet.cheung's post is also good, lol. I'm an admirer of military.

After using multitudes of expensive moisturizers, I've found something that I would like to share with others. RAW SHEA BUTTER. My skin's never looked better, and it's very inexpensive. Truly amazing, but you must get the raw stuff, because of the natural occurence of vitamins, etc. Also Jojoba Oil, which is actually a wax, scientifically speaking, is inexpensive and is great for the winter weather. Both have natural (when raw, cold pressed) sunscreen in them from a certain chemical compound. And drink a lot of water, when I don't, it shows.

The skin does NOT remove impurities. The skin is an organ that excretes sweat (salt water) for cooling and oils. The way your body removes impurities is through excrement - solid and liquid waste - that's the endpoint the waste filtered by your liver, kidneys and large intestines - NOT your skin.

#4 is more true than I used to realize... after a round of chelation (to remove heavy metals) my skin went from dry to baby smooth, and remained that way without having to continue using the product

Why would I want to exfoliate like a courtesan? You DO know that that's a prostitute, right?

I'd like to know what natural ingrediets can help oily skin. VERY oily skin. All I ever hear about is the dry skin. Here I am 43 years old, and still have problems that usually only teens deal with. Very oily T-zone, zits, blackheads. Help!

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that a Chinese author wrote mainly about Chinese "solutions" which are out of reach for most average AMERICANS with this crappy economy. Yet another P.O.S article from YAHOO! And to agree with #17, everything IS always about dry skin, is it that hard for them to put lotion on? It's harder to take care of oily skin. Lame article.
