    Good common sense but the link to water treatment was a disservice. You get no explaination of what "Cartriges A & B" remove or what they are made of. There are a multitude of contaminants and just as many ways to remove them. Folks should do homework on that subject before investing. Thank-you

    Dr. Ni always has sound advice. Bit it's sad that we as a society have to be told to eat whole and natural foods. Obviously, nature did not intend us to eat processed (garbage) foods devalued of nutrients. Put down the Twinkie and eat an apple. You'll be healthier and have a more $.

    how do you make yogurt out of sprouts? or is this article inlaying ones you have made sprouts grow in a jar you are then able to make yogurt. you know you have to have some kind of dairy for yogurt. And most of the "cheep" Produce is no longer cheep at all.

    Gardens are great but expensive to maintain with all the nutrients to add in the dirt and all that water.

    Knowing what is in season is vwery helpful. With so much food brought in from overseas it is sometimes hard to buy food that is in season.

    While I could easily consume this diet, the rest of the people in my house would not. They like meat too much. It's all I can do to get them to eat chicken or fish occasionally. I don't know how to deal with that. I can't stand to hear them whine. Maybe I should kick them out of the house, and eat my legumes and fruits in peace.

    A garden can be expensive and time consuming and different crops require different conditions. You have to do your research and store bought soil amendments can be expensive. Start with one crop, say tomatoes, and each season add something else. Gardening isn't for everyone, but everyone can grow at least one crop with a little effort.

    Some of this may seem common knowledge to those of us who know food (myself included) but this is the first time reading one of Dr Maos articles that actually had A-LOT of good information from the begining to end. For non tofu lovers there are plenty of ways to make this rather bland but healthy prodict taste great! I like to slice mine then fry it up in /with olive oil, lil butter, garlic, sea salt, pepper fresh ground and various herbs like thyme, oregano and sage. Also adding a marinade such as Kona Coast pinapple terriaki (ok I know this isnt the healthiest but its yummy) is so good mmmmmm
