#2 and #5 are so important to me for keeping my stress levels down. ( diet and exercise). A well balanced diet has been key to my emotional and physical health. And exercise has transformed my body and given me so much more energy. #3 is also important. I use "The Secret" journal to write down my negative thoughts into more positive ones, this makes the rest of the day go so much better.

As a Psychologist, I highly recommend this practice or several others that have been endorsed by professionals over the years. Look around for one that "feels good" to you.

I am a 57 y.o. unemployed, uninsured male and have symtoms of stress although I seem relaxed otherwise. The symtoms are barely noticable, upset stomache, lack of erection. distracted etc. Not having insurance or extra funds to visit a Dr at this time I was wondering if these are indeed stress related or maybe something more serious (there I go stressing about stress)

    8. Stop listening to all the depressing news, the media has gotten really good at frothing things up, could be things aren't quite as bad as the media make them, or does the stirring up cause people to panic more and make things worse? Hmmm... the age old question....

Excellent Advice. Will try these and see if positive changes occur. I know this is some great stuff to do, I just don't take the time. And that is a sin. I shall start taking time for myself, and then watch myself live longer & happier.Thanks.
