I love apples but don't like pesticides. Apples are one of the fruits that easily asorb pesticides so I opt for organically grown. Other fruits that asorb high levels of pesticides are; strawberries, grapes, peaches and pears. Most apple juice is watered down and has sugar added. You won't get the same benefits from the juice.

Greetings, Peace Be Unto You All Always. this is great info for everyone who wants a more fulfilling life. The apple also has these life giving measures in the juicing process joined with vegetables and other fruits. Great article and one that couldn't be more important. I'm a Gala lover to the point that I will hurt myself. I like grannys and others but we all have our favorites. Eat and enjoy.

ARE SOME APPLES BETTER THAN OTHERS? FOR INSTANCE, THE RED DELICIOUS IS DARK RED. DOES THIS MAKE IT BETTER?

I love apples IN SEASON, I tend to purchase in bulk and make my own apple sauce to 'survive' the winter - meaning I can my own... I will be going in 2 weeks to PICK my own apples at a U-Pick, as is our family tradition... This is a treat for us to spend time with our children and to let them see where food grows... Apples make a GREAT dessert:)
