I've actually started trying something similiar for the last 8 days. I've been eating 5-6 small meals a day. Mostly veggies, nuts, fruits, lean deli meats, skinless chicken, beans, and sliced cheese. I can use a low cal dressing on salads, but not anything creamy. It's boring but I have lost 3-4 pounds in 8 days. Plus trying to drink a lot of water. I do have my Diet Dr.Pepper, which is allowed. I've cheated once and went to Pizza Hut for a thin and crispy pepperoni and mushroom pizza. But other than that, I've had no bread, pasta, red meat, sugar,or regular soda for 8 days. And probably if I exercised it would be more. Where in the world do you get pine nuts and millet?

mmm... more gobbly goop, the bottom line is: take in fewer calories than your maintenance caloric intake and you lose weight period.. I love yahoo's advertisements for various authors such as this dr. people love reading that green tea and pine nuts will help its so much easier than dropping the junk food and getting off your butt!

The secret to weight loss is there is no secret! Put the fork down and move a little and you will be fine! The "baby boomers" grew up on sugar and fatty foods but did not have the obesity epidemic like we have now!! Remember, even healthy food is fattening if you have too much.

I can't go to my local supermarket and just find millet. I'm not sure some of these items are realistic.
