I'll try these tips...not really new tips...same old thing I've been reading EVERYWHERE. I think the key is still....activity...exercise, walking, moving, just being more active. ( No more couch potato habits). I've completely cut out snacks, sugar and sweets, most fat, and eat smaller portions....but like I said...I started about 3 weeks ago walking 5 times a week at least a mile....and putting on my MP3 pplayer and just dancing around the house, and structured exercises...and have finally started noticing a little weight loss....yippie!

Good snacks to eat that are high in protein and low in fat is Ostrim Meat Sticks. They are made with ostrich meat and lean beef. They taste great and are great for on-the-go.

You would think by now most Americans would have figured what was bad for them and what was good. Who didn't grow up learning about the food pyramid, knowing that sugars and fats are not good for you and make you fat and that eating fruits and vegetables is? I drink green tea every morning after doing some stretching and push ups and sit ups. That gets my metabolism going right away. I eat an apple almost every day and oatmeal quite often. I am not saying this to brag but it is not that hard to get into some good habits.

How much of these foods should you eat daily? This is an interesting story and a good followup would be serving amounts of each of these foods.

Fat Free yogurt, bananas, peanut butter, lean meat, veges, nuts, these are all great things to eat for weight loss...it still goes without saying that a diet low in carbs is the best. If you are someone who has a difficult time getting up and out to exercise this is excellent, if you are a diabetic its excellent. If you are healthy and can move, MOVE and get out. But, there are some people who just can't because of health issues.

green tea really does cleanse, pine nuts really do suppress hunger....At least for me they've worked well. I'm not a "diet" kind of girl. I'm in my twenties and i'm my ideal weight and I DO NOT diet but i do eat everything! (in moderation) sometimes just being "aware" of what you're eating helps make good choices

If I only had a dollar for every fat loss diet I’ve read well lets face it, we’d all be millionaires. It’s a simple ratio, burn more calories than you take in and no weight gain occurs, to get rid of fat try exercising. Hit target heart rate, and you go from burning calories to burning fat! Not eating is easy, ask any homeless person. How about this for a topic; weight gain! For all those people out there who fit into the “scrawny” category, unfortunately for them exercising only burns more calories. Those poor souls are the ones that genetics truly screw.
