great advice, Dr. Mao, as always :) earl p, did you read the article before you posted your comment? there's nothing "special" about cabbage, spinach, pear or cucumber.

I enjoyed you'r article. I have ALWAYS suffered from dark circles, even as a child. I will be trying the tea bag and cucumber trick. The only problem is the vegetable's. My father ruined me on A LOT of tem when I was a child, he always cooked them until they were like baby food, then would cake a ton of salt on them. I will also try the cool washcloth at night and eating the Asian pears, I do love fruit though.

Most of this is just common sense. Everyone should know that eating green and leafy vegetables are good for you, thus help lessen the aging process and smoking ages a person. The doctor is just emphasizing facts that a person should already know and do.

Wonderful advice...I bought some of that Lamas eye cream upon your recomendation, I hope it works. Oriental medicine is the best, makes the most sense, works the entire body and I can't live without my acupuncture! I can limp in the clinic, crippled and in extreme pain and walk out like a new person with a bounce in my step. Everyone should give it a try.

Too much caffine can cause dark circles. It's specifically a lack of vitamin K as well. Eat your carrots too!
