Looks like the foods I have eaten for 74 years along with not smoking, drinking alcohol only water milk, tea, coffee (columbian type). I was at one time eating to much red meet and got gout but I cured it by eating more veg, no red meat, fish white type. So this is what I have done and I am a scientist with high IQ even today.

Dear Dr. Mao, I agree with all but # 1 of the foods you've suggested. Why kill the fish to gain, second hand, the nutrients that we seek from the plant life which it consumes? Using the intelligence of the human brain, which we are attempting to keep young and healthy here, of what benefit is it to us to continue the process of the old habits of killing animals so unecessarily, which over time have caused a threat to our eco system and all of life on earth? This is an "old", "unhealthy" way, for those truly seeking "young", "healthy" mental processes, to go about living our lives. Have we placed ourselves at the top of the food chain? Not really so because more and more we can see that what we eat is eating us, from mad cow and bird flu diseases, to mercury and increased animal attacks on humans where we have stripped them of their natural prey. Where does the vicious cycle end? My guess is that it would end with a massive awareness and awakening within the "youthful", "healthy" human brain. Just a little "food for thought". Thank you for your ear, eyes and open mind...which i promise not to eat!!! LOL!!! Peace, love and harmony to all. Rashida Abdullah
