What does "[b]rewers yeast contains natural glucose tolerance factor" mean? How can anything "contain a factor?" Why not offer a reasonably scientific explanation of the metabolic processes involved?

Wow, finally something I can understand and attempt to help myself. Complete and easy things that nobody ever tells you in one paragraph form, all together in one place. I am 60 years old and I will tell you I am so excited with this information that I have tears in my eyes. I humbly thank you and consider one book less in your inventory is an honor for me to report.

My friends mom is in the hospital and they found out she has a heart murmur and is also diabetic. What steps are there that they can take and change their eating habits as well. Her mother is only 62 but she never had problems before until now and she suffers from alot of pain in her legs that she's not able to walk and is mostly in pain. Could you please help.

Why is all of the natural help for diabetes only for type 2 diabetes? Type 1 should be addressed as well--there are natural treatments/remedies for type 1 as well.
