The comments are well intended and good practice. However, in every office, there is a Type A personality. It is not long before the Type A is in charge. When the Type A goes off on a hysteric rampage, you have a choice ..... join the hysteric rampage or be fired. A calm, cool person is always viewed as unresponsive, not taking the problems seriously, and not a team player. A healthy attitude is personally destructive, at least in America.

Dr. Mao has never worked in the real world. How long do you think a bouquet of flowers will last sitting next to a blast furnace? And how do you get natural light and fresh air into a dingy factory? Meditation?? In most places, you either keep up or they push you out the door.

For Gigi. Taking mini breaks while working on ur computer is essential. Some of the things that you can do, without leaving your desk: 1. Gently squeeze your upper arms with opposite hands, relaxing the muscles and release the tension that builds up while typing. 2. Work your way up to your shoulders. 3. With your head slightly bent forward, rest your hands at slightly lower than the base of your neck. Gradually glide your hands forward and upwards, and straighten your head. This movement will help ease the tension in your neck which is particularly vulnerable during computer time. 4. Hands on your waist, thumbs forward. Gently squeeze, and work your way upwards and outwards as high as you can comfortably go. Reduces tension in the back muscles. There are many more movements. Hope this helps and takes away some of your work day stress. Enjoy your day!

Thank You Dr. Mao It was a great confirmation that this article about your book and helpful hints to a healthy successful work experience were today’s headline. I have been practicing ways to relax and pace my self so that I am not as tense and mentally strained during and after work. The tips noted in this article are worth looking at and highly effective. Thanks again big guy.
