EPA spends so much time looking after other problems, that they forgot the ones in our own backyard....Not saying they don't do a good job..We need water to survive, So i think we should be spending more time on this problem...Thank You...

You forgot to mention that most city water contains the poison sodium fluoride which is mandated to be added because everyone believes the myth that by drinking it, you won't get as many cavities.

What I would think is probably the largest source of contamination, which I didn't see in the article, is that for as long as I can remember we've been told to always 'flush' our unused and outdated medicines to prevent children and animals from accidentally ingesting them. Those flushed medicines go directly to the water treatment plants and then to the ground supply as non-potable water, or in some areas, I believe they dump them straight to the rivers and oceans after filtering out the majority of pollutants. (If this was in the article and I just missed it, please accept my apology in advance.)

I tried to post once, but didn't seem to work, if this appears twice, sorry.... This is just nonsense that scares people into creating conspiracy theories. So many people get so worked up about not having the cleanest water, but they still manage to guzzle down a 32oz. Coke and a Big Mac and fries. Hmm, I wonder what's going to kill them first?

Thanks, for the heads up. I never would have guessed that drugs would be in my water. i thought that at least water would be the safest thing that entered the body. Now, I have to get a water filtration.

Fluoride will do MUCH worse things to your body than anything in this little article. The filter mentioned in that article is a joke. It removes ZERO fluoride from your horribly polluted tap. The ONLY non-powered system that I have seen that can do it efficiently is the Berkey water filter, using a set of PF-2 Aluminum Oxide filters to trap fluoride. Get the facts: www.fluoridealert.org and then take action to get it out of your water!
