unfortunately, most of this helps about as much as my allergy medication. Which hardly helps at all. =[ I have the hardest time finding relief from my seasonal allergies, tried everything.

Another option for cleaning your sinuses with salt water is a Neti Pot. You may also have to tweak the amount of salt in the water down if it burns too much.

Ever since I started rinsing my sinuses, I feel like a new woman. Its a little scary at first. I have had no sinus problems since I started doing it. I just use plain old warm water and keep a cup by my sink the has a straw built in. I threw out my nasonex after a few weeks. The neti pot is my new choice of drug! Thank goodness I just happen to watch that Oprah episode w/ Dr. Oz!

Thank you Dr. Mao. I suffer every year from acute rhinitis and hayfever. It really hinders my ability to function normally for about two months of the year! So, in short it drives me crazy. Anything that helps alleviate the inhibiting symptoms is welcomed! From your tips I found the nasal massage and the saline solution for cleaning the nasal ducts most helpful. The massage provided clear ducts for at least 15 minutes at a time, and my headache lifted. Also, the advice on diet is great, I would never have guessed that eating wheat products may affect hayfever. I will try abstaining from bread, which should be easy enough here in Japan.

Right you have to keep in mind if all these tips really worked to a good extent, allergenists, Clartin and other allergy drug companies would be out of a job decades ago. A dumb article that is of course pointless.
