I found the article very interesting, and helpful, because most of my diet depends on food without wheat products. I have a disease called gluten.

I think my grandmother used to know these healthy foods and herbs but we are losing this knowledge. I will definitely print and save this plus pass it along to family and friends.

I'm 83 years old & was drinking a cup of tea when I pulled up your blog. I'm going to shop for lycium berries, & may buy your Self Healing book - if it's not too expensive. N

Blah blah blah blah blah! This exact same info has been available to us for years. Seriously now folks, how many of you have honestly never seen or heard any of this? Most of us can probably repeat it verbatum in our sleep like some sort of cult mantra! Dr. Mao seems to be at best a day late and a dollar short of original ideas, and or at worst, a plagerist extrordinaire!O.K., now that thats off my chest, I have a much more interesting question. Along with this article there were numerous others posted. Many, not nearly as inane and condesending as this. My question is, why are we allowed to post comments on the likes of these and not on the more serious issues? I personally would love to give my opinion on the seperation of Kosovo, or the Turks invading Iraq. However, for some reason the powers that be don't feel like we should have that option. Wonder why? Just a litttle food for thought. Hope you all have an outstanding day! Until next time, Via Con Dios.

I am a great believer in vigorous physical exercise as necessary for top mental functioning. I think sleep helps too. I pay little attention to diet except to eat a little bit of everything, i also believe in drinking a few glasses of wine every day plus a small vodka and orange juice. Keep moving your body and you'll keep moving your brain!

Dr Mao should study the dramatic difference between dried Goji berries and "cold-pressed" preservative free GoChi juice.... it takes over 24 pounds of dried berries to equal the polysacharide sugar content of four ounces of this juice... it also contains at least 19 amino acids including all eight needed for human life. He can research this at "GojiUSA.org" or "thegochieffect.info"
