Air exchanges are also very a important part of "modern buildings". They are designed to draw in outside air and to exhaust the air inside the building no matter how tight the building is. The only difference is the air is conditioned before it reaches you office.

Thanks to both Dr. Mao's solutions for being less expensive &/or easier to accomplish, and the note by johnnybadaz for it's possibilities... Questions: Do "Air exchanges" help block or decrease outdoor allergies? And if we use the open windows at home, how might we decrease the effect of outdoor allergies? (mold, ragweed, pollen, etc....)

What do you suggest if your office has mold growing in it? The bathroom has water damage and you can see mold growing on the walls and backsplash. There are no windows to open. Would placing an air purifier on a desk help?

Most offices these days don't have windows that can be opened - so, unfortunately, that bit of advice doesn't really help.

Dr. Mao is it possible to suppress your body's tendacy toward being allergic? I developed allergies as an adult. What can I do to convert my body back to not being allergic?

It was on YahooHealth or maybe YahooNews sometime ago that the best sitting position from latest studies show that: Angle 45 deg. sitting position is the best rather than the age-long upright (90 deg.) position. Please check this and let's know your view.
