Coffee does jolt a person but IMO its less allergenic than tea to which you can quickly become allergic. I am trying to avoid this as I love tea.

I do not like the taste of green tea. Its awful but I love English tea with milk and sugar.

Hi! I always drank pepsi all day. That's my coffee in the A.M. Well,I switched to drinking iced tea. I brew it from iced tea bags. I lost 25 lbs. After I had surgery, I gained quite a bit from medication & not being as active as I was.I still have a can of pepsi in the A.M., but than I drink ice tea.

I drink tea all the time and sweeten it with stevia and I'm so glad someone else knows the benefits of it! Stevia is a sweet herb that is still not widely known or used throughout the United States despite its popularity in countries such as Paraguay, its native country, and China. It is so much healthier than any artificial sweetener or even sugar because it comes from a plant and is all natural. In addition it has no calories, no carbs and no glycemic index - ideal for pretty much anyone. I've tried a few brands of stevia and would recommend SweetLeaf's version of it. I like the taste the best and they have a wide variety of products which makes it really easy to cook and bake. I use stevia in my tea, as mentioned above, but also as a sugar substitute in all my recipes. I usually just add a filler substance like mashed bananas or yogurt to make up for the lost volume of sugar. I'd definitely give it a try if you're looking for a sweetener that is healthy and natural! Also, I found these videos while surfing YouTube the other day if anyone wants to check them out for more info: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6wwMAe_Hi0k http://youtube.com/watch?v=s5ILDC5Cx_o
