I agree totally, but, how exactly is a family of 6 that barely lives paycheck to paycheck, supposed to afford organic toilet paper?

I read your blog with interest...but where do I get these non-harmful products? Do these exist in the regular grocery stores??? What do I look for? The word "organic?" Let me know...thank you, A friend...

Why did our ancestors, who lived on a clean earth, had no plastic and harmful cleaners, only live to be 30 or 40. It's all about genetics.

How realistic is this? I mean the world seems to be out of control. Businesses producing these products for profit are never going to stop. Everything that is better cost more. Most people cannot even afford to live healthy. Does that make any sense. Good health shouldn't cost more money. What a bunch of bull. Trying to buy organic doesn't only cost more, it isn't in every store, so it is not convenient. It's a huge expense for the struggling family. I read articles like this and they stress me out more than I already am because I was brought up to think if it's in the store it's safe. I trusted that nobody with a heart would sell products that would injure other people and the same world they live in. It ticks me off to think that my children have been toxified by everyday products that we are not told are dangerous. They keep on selling this stuff that this article is basically describing as toxic junk. Do these manufacturers care about this stuff? Obviously not. Most of us are ignorant to this stuff until we read an article like this one. But then we learn this information and freak out because we've trusted that the people selling it cared. I mean, aren't the sellers of these products human too? Don't they have to live on this planet too? Don't they have children too? How can we let this continue? Reading this article can make a person never want to shop again because we never really know what danger lurks in the products that are marketed as if they are safe to use or ingest. What a bunch of bull. I think a speak for many when I say I am frustrated with every new piece of news that comes out telling us that what we've been eating, drinking, using, ect., ect. is toxic and is killing us. Rather than maintaining a good quality of life, we are toxifiying our bodies, making companies rich, and causing ourselves unwanted, unneeded dis-ease. Why? Why? Why? does this continue?

It amazes me when people like Dr. Mao will postulate about something as though it were gospel. The fact is that we cannot add or subtract one second from the lifespan that our Creator has already planned for our lives. Yes, we can eat and exercise to improve the quality of that time, but add to it....I don't think so! Read your Bible.

I've been a distributor and used Shaklee's green products for thirty of their fifty-two years in business. I totally believe in being natural. Problem is sometimes it's been hard to find foods that are organically grown and pure until lately. It's all the go right now. I think we've gone almost full circle with it. I don't think it will be just a phase, I think it's finally here to stay..

Lifestyle is more important to longevity than "environment". Commuting, fast food, restaurant food, big mortgages, car payments, Starbucks, career expectations (your "career" is probably a cruel joke anyway; you will slave, then retire, then die at the retirement golf/ski/bike seniors enclave) , and sedentary office jobs contribute more to the early deaths of Americans than the green toilet paper they choose. Bogus article...you can do much better. Get real. Get a life.

We could never detect dioxin up to several years ago - Dr Mao is slightly mao-maoing over nothing - my god - every time you strike a match there is now detectable dioxion - we never knew it was there before. Give us a break with some of this silly nonsense.
