well, looking at the size of this expert contibutor here about the sports bra... i'm sure there's no capacity available for her naynays... and keeping them from rocking up and down and causing fault lines to seperate and us ending up with a earthquake of intense magnatudes!

.... As an RN, this contributor should have known that breast tissue was NOT "designed", but EVOLVED the way it is... no wonder we have such a hard time teaching kids science when the 'experts' make blatant silly mistakes like this...

Thank-you for the article. I never knew or even thought of ligaments in my breast. I simply thought a breast consisted of fat and mammary glands. Although throwing them around never was on the top of my list, at least now I know why they hurt after Jiujitsu. Definitley a sport that is not breast friendly.

Actually, it's been found that encapsulation bras are more supportive than compression bras, especially for larger breasted women, so it isn't about them being "tight," it's about proper fit. Use a guide that rates sports bras as to the amount of support.

Lillie, this article reminded me of a question I've had for a while, but have never asked anyone.... does wearing a bra at night help prevent droop and sagging?
