I just wanted to warm people, especially the older people, the dangers of taking too much aspirin, or b.c. powders. I just spent three days in CCU, with three bleeding ulcers, and esophagitus, caused from taking two much aspirin. Had to have nose tube in stomach, two units if blood, a scope, and many other tests. Hope I can spare someone the pain of what I went through. No more aspirin for me, only limited tylenol, and prilosec. Thanks, janndennis@yahoo.com

I can attest to the influence of caffeine on breast pain. I had extremely painful breasts until I cut out coffee other than decaf. Limited caffeine is OK for me -- a small diet coke or iced tea for lunch.

Can too much caffeine actually cause small cysts of fluid? Or does it just cause swelling of the existing cysts? I have been told to lay off the caffeine before mammograms.

I would like Lillie to comment on a contradictory conclusion regarding risks associated with dense breasts. Dr. Janet Garguilo, a medical oncologist of New York Oncology Hematology can be heard on Thehealthshow.org #1072 titled "So What's New in Breast Cancer Part 1" At minute 4:00 she says "studies in the last 6-10 years show clearly it IS 3 to 4 times more likely that women with dense breasts will develop breast cancer than the average woman".
