I've had lumpectomies (1st @ 26!) for fibrocystic breasts, had Drs. tell me I had cancer (benign), insurance tell me I wasn't old enough to cover a mammogram, and very painful exams. In the end, get the exam, trust your Dr., (even if it's precautionary) and follow up. I've had many in my family die of breast cancer; I've been borderline several times. (Precancerous) It's better to be safe than dorry.
