It would seem that American Gynecologists get very little training regarding the female breasts as well as an infant's foreskin. Both these anatomical structures remain foreign to a typical American doctor. Perhaps we really shouldn't be surprised then that amputation of these tissues are commonly recommended by anti-sex butchers who seem to know "what's best" for us.

Geez- this seems amazing. I was stage III and now I'm 2 years out. I still see onco every 3 months. Onco always gives me a breast exam. OBGYN sees me every 4 months. I asked when that would change and the onco says - "you are stuck with us for a long time". that gives me great comfort. GP is not really so pro-active. My feeling is you pay a doctor for their work, get the best. I interviewed several places before I settled on my care. You usually have enought time to do this.

Good article I think first of all you are the one to take care of your breast health. You are the one to get to the Dr. and demand that they give you a exam.
