I was unaware of any of this, but I am glad that I know now, because I am white and I have a daughter that is biracial. She is only 8 but she is often talking about getting her hair straightened. I did a child hair relaxer on her once before, but I decided we would just use a flat iron instead. The information in the blog was a great source of information I needed to know. My aunt was taken by breast cancer in her 40's, so I am always looking for new information. Thank you so much.

This is useful information to know. It is worth sharing with other black women.
