If you are considering suicide but do not have a plan, talk about your suicidal thoughts with someone immediately. Talk with a family member, friend, doctor, or counselor. You can also call your local suicide hotline or the national suicide hotline (1-800-SUICIDEor1-800-273-TALKor1-800-273-8255).
You may think that suicide is the only way to solve your problem and end the pain you are feeling. It may be hard for you to see other solutions. This makes it important to talk about suicidal thoughts with someone. Other people may have a different perspective and may be able to help you find other solutions to your problems and pain.
Your health professional will be able to help arrange for you to receive the help you need.
