why can't we compromise and set the clock one half hour ahead and just leave it for all time?

It is good for the people working the 11-7 night shift. They only have to work 7 hours. Of course this means that in the fall, we have to work 9 hours while everyone else gets an extra hour of sleep. The world just doesn't work around the 11-7 night shift. I have been working it for 27 years and I have to give up my sleep all the time to work around everybody elses schedule.

Why does man feel the need to tweak everything? In my opinion we should just leave day light up to God.

If our Lord wanted "daylight saving's time he would not have set the day and night as he did, just as he set the seasons. Why is it certain people can change things, that causes more accidents,depres-sion and anger,to suit thierselves. I say we go back to the way the Lord intended, planned and made our days and night.

We are being driven by a con and geo-political power play. The whole process is being driven by the myth that human carbon emissions are causing global warming and a rise in temperatures. That isn't necessarily a proven fact, however, as there are numerous studies and researchers that are quite clear that CO2 content does not raise atmospheric temperatures but rather the other way around. It is the warmer temps that are raising the CO2. This is demonstrated by measurements in the atmosphere. It is simply bad science. Global Warming is the new religion.

I think we should stick to one time! People are going to consume power either way. Enough already!

In Arizona we have no daylight savings and it is great. It seems too confusing and pointless to me.

I'm excited about having more sunlight in my daily schedule! When it's bright outside we are motivated to get more done & spend more time with our children outside. Get over that your going to lose 1 hour of sleep & think positive! This is a great thing for us personally & helps our economy!

Save energy? How? Now people working first shift will be up while it's still dark, using more electricity to get ready for work...these same people will still be up when it gets dark, using the same amount as they did before...looks to me like it will be a net gain...
