A pad test can demonstrate the frequency and severity of incontinence that occurs in your daily life.
You will be provided with an absorbent pad that has been weighed. The pad is worn until urine leakage occurs, and then you return the soiled pad to be reweighed. The amount of urine released is estimated by measuring the increased weight of the pad.
The pad test is most valuable when you also keep a voiding log
(What is a PDF document?).
