Dr. Schneider is the chief medical officer of Healthwise, Incorporated. Dr. Schneider co-founded the Idaho Wellness Center, an innovative family practice based on prevention, self-care, and self-responsibility. During his more than 25 years of practice at the Idaho Wellness Center, he partnered with patients to manage their health and medical decisions. Dr. Schneider is an expert on the concept of patients as partners and has spoken to both national and international conferences on the importance of building good patient–physician relationships.
Dr. Schneider serves as chief medical editor for all Healthwise publications and products. He leads the Healthwise Medical Team and directs the efforts of the Healthwise Medical Review Board and a panel of more than 200 of the country's leading specialists who review all new and updated Knowledgebase topics.
